Veteran Administration forms are, at times a bit complex, requiring information you may not have close at hand. Below we have provided a link to each form in PDF format. This will allow you to read the form and gather any needed information prior to filling it out online.

Need Additional Assistance with your VA Benefit Forms?

The first step to enrolling in CCD is to create an account and apply online. Don’t forget to save your student identification number.

  • The College accepts all students who are at least 17 years of age.
  • There is no application fee.
  • College Opportunity Fund (COF) pays a portion of your total in-state tuition and is eligible for undergraduate students. Simply apply for the COF on your admission application.

Required Enrollment Forms for Veterans

As a veteran, in addition to applying for enrollment to the College, you will need to submit the following pieces of information to CCD's Veteran Support Services.

Veterans are eligible to apply for financial aid and receive your GI Bill. Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is your application for all federal and state grants, loans, and work-study.

  • CCD’s Educational Opportunity Center will help you apply for financial aid. Call 303.352.8746 to get assistance.
  • CCD’s school code is: 009542
  • Start early! The financial aid process takes four to six weeks.
  • The FAFSA’s deadline is April 15th.
  • Apply for CCD scholarships.
  • Authorize CCD to apply your COF stipend to your tuition bill through the Authorize COF link on CCDConnect under the Student Finance Tab. Learn more about COF.

In general, students who have completed college-level English and math coursework at a regionally accredited institution of higher education with a grade of “C” or higher are exempt and do not need to take a placement test. Students with minimum ACT/SAT scores within the past five (5) years may also be exempt. However, if the English and math assessment requirements are not met through a transfer of credits you may need to provide unofficial/official test scores to the Testing Center or determine course placement through another means

Your SOAR session covers all of the important information you need as you begin your adventure as a CCD student.

Topics include choosing the right classes, resources, financial aid, and scholarships, getting involved on campus, registering for courses, and more. 

To access your SOAR session, please log into CCDConnect. Once you are logged into the student portal, click on the Success Onboarding and Resources.

Get the academic advising process started early! Your academic advising session is your opportunity to discuss educational plans and find out what classes you will start with at CCD. Please visit or contact the Academic Advising and Student Success Center to get connected with your academic advisor.

Register early for the best selection of classes and times. To register for your classes log in to your CCDConnect student account and click on the Navigate icon. Click on the Planner tab to see your planned courses and build your schedule. Pick the dates and times that work best for you for each course. When you are done adding sections click on the register button.

Your student CCDConnect email account is the official means of communication between you and the College. Once you have registered for classes, you will gain access to your student email account. At least once a week you should sign in to the CCDConnect student portal and view your registration, financial aid status, and check your email.

Pay your tuition and fees in full at least one week before classes start.

  • If you miss the payment deadline, you may be dropped from all classes and your original classes may no longer be available.
  • Payment options are available, learn more at the Cashier’s Office.
