2024 Commencement

This year we will host our celebration on Thursday, May 9th from 10am to 3pm on Ninth Street Park on the Auraria Campus. An indoor backup location will be announced in case of inclement weather.

Commencement Celebration

An RSVP will be sent to all students who have completed their graduation application with the Office of Registration and Records. Not sure you’ve taken this step? Please contact the Office of Registration & Records: 303.556.2420 | CCD.ORR@ccd.edu to confirm. Keep an eye on your student email and CCD newsletter for your Commencement invitation. Students will be able to choose a morning or afternoon Commencement Celebration timeslot when they RSVP for the event.

Each graduate will have the opportunity to walk across the stage and accept their diploma. Family and friends of our graduates will be able to get close to the stage to cheer on their grads and take pictures. We will also have stations near the stage where we will hand out graduation goodies, including a printed commencement program. There will be entertainment and refreshments from 12:00 to 1:00p.m. during intermission!

Free parking will be available in the Holly Lot for graduates, family, and friends. This is an outdoor event, so we encourage graduates and guests to plan accordingly. Parking address: 801 Curtis Street, Denver, CO 80204.

Grad Fair

Caps and gowns for 2024 graduates will be available for pick up on the 1st floor of the Confluence Building on Monday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 7, from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. After picking up your regalia, we encourage you to stick around for free refreshments, cap decorating, and other activities sponsored by Student Programming, Activities, & Resource Center and the CCD Foundation/Alumni Office.
