About the Exams

If you have a special accommodation or need to test somewhere other than the CCD Placement and Credential Testing Center, please follow the steps below. Students must be enrolled at CCD and have a CCD student ID number to use this service.

How to Schedule

Step 1: Contact a local college or university testing center. Please see the Consortium of College of Testing Centers for a list of testing sites near you. These services are often listed under the heading – proctored services.

Step 2: Speak with your professor and gain permission to have your test proctored at your chosen location. 

Step 3: Email us at class.testing@ccd.edu with the name and contact information for your chosen proctor site, the title, prefix, and section number of your class, and a copy of the written permission from your professor. We will contact you with next steps.
