Welcome to the Math and Science Zone!

The Math and Science Zone provides free support through in-person and online sessions for all CCD students attending any Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology courses. At the Math and Science Zone, students can also take advantage of our additional programs throughout the semester: Math Bootcamp and Workshops. Visit our links for more details on these options.

No appointments needed. Just walk into our physical location - Confluence Building, 4th floor, room 410, from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

One-one-one online sessions are available through Accudemia appointments. Schedule an appointment from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Math Bootcamp

The Math Boot Program is a computer-based, self-paced, and in-person assisted learning program focused on individual learning progress. This is a free, non-credit, and non-financial aid eligible program offered by the Math and Science Zone to develop and reinforce the basic mathematics skills that students need for college-level math courses.

Students may use this program to work on areas to build confidence and prepare for math courses for the upcoming semester without pressure.

The Math Bootcamp is offered in the week preceding the start of the course in the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Workshops

The Math and Science Zone offers specialized workshops before exams to help students reinforce their understanding of key concepts and enhance their problem-solving skills. These workshops provide targeted review sessions, practice problems, and effective study strategies tailored to the specific content of upcoming exams. By attending these workshops, students can boost their confidence and improve their performance, ensuring they are well-prepared for their tests.
