Get Affordable Internet Access at Home
Comcast and Colorado Community College System have teamed up to offer Internet Essentials, bringing internet into the homes of low-income community college students.
The community college student pilot program began two years ago and has helped CCD students gain access to the Internet from home for a low $9.95 monthly rate (plus tax).
With greater access to academic resources and employment possibilities, you can make the most of your college experience.
Do I Qualify?
CCD students who qualify must meet the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled in a two-year community college.
- Must be a Pell Grant recipient.
- Must not have outstanding debt to Comcast that is less than a year old. Individuals without standing debt more than one year old may still be eligible.
- Must live in an area where Comcast Internet service is available but not have subscribed to it within the last 90 days.
In addition, eligible students can get a desktop or laptop computer for just $149.99 (plus tax). This offer includes Microsoft Office, Norton Security Suite, and a 90-day warranty.
