How do I receive testing accommodations at CCD?
- If you have a documented disability connect with the Accessibility Center (AC) to receive accommodations. You may contact the Accessibility Center (AC) by phone at 303-556-3300, via email at CCD.Access@ccd.edu, or come to Confluence 121 in person to request the initial paperwork and provide your disability documentation. The initial paperwork and disability documentation will be saved in a confidential file for review by a staff member prior to meeting with you. Intake meetings to discuss your disability, how it impacts you academically, and determine appropriate accommodations, can be held virtually. After your intake is completed and you are determined eligible for testing accommodations, your Accommodation Letter will be sent to your student email. Students must renew their accommodations each semester by contacting CCD.Access@ccd.edu after they have registered for classes.
- Students taking classes at other higher education institutions must complete the intake process with CCD's Accessibility Center to receive accommodations for courses taken at CCD.
How do I schedule an accommodated test?
Request an accommodated testing appointment through the following link: Accommodated Testing Appointment Request.
Note: A three to five business day advanced notice is required for scheduling a test. We process requests only during business hours (does not include weekends). Failure to make an appointment in a timely manner may impact the Accessibility Center's ability to provide testing accommodations.
