We’re proud to announce that Community College of Denver has been designated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education as a First Generation-Serving campus. This designation was established by Colorado House Bill 1082, recognizing colleges and universities that enroll a higher-than-average number of first generation students.
Many students in Colorado face barriers in accessing postsecondary learning experiences. The First Generation-Serving Designation centers on equity and recognizes campuses that are doing the work to uplift marginalized communities.
