CCD will be remote all day Friday, November 8, 2024, and Saturday, November 9, 2024.

The decision to move to remote operations and learning was made due to the limited ability to provide safe conditions on campus and/or the travel conditions to and from campus. 

Please note that this decision was made independently by CCD and may differ from other institutions on the Auraria Campus. Unlike CU and MSU, which only have the option to either open fully or close and cancel classes, CCD considers remote operations as an alternative. 

Our decision process takes into account the challenges faced by employees and students, especially regarding parking costs. For instance, opening for only a few hours means those without a semester parking pass would still need to pay for a full day’s parking for a limited time on campus. This flexibility allows us to better accommodate the needs of our community under variable conditions.
