What do you do at CCD?

Just try to be the all around good guy; be a listener.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy the tremendous energy from colleagues and students.

When you’re not working, what do you do?

Writing, basketball, camping, hiking, hanging with family and my wonderful partner, cooking, gardening, raising worms, reading, letterpress printing

What moment at CCD stands out as the most memorable?

It was when the English and CCR departments surprised me with a going away gathering as I transitioned out of the department chair role. What a moment!

Who had the greatest influence on your education and/or career path?

The greatest influence comes from anyone with a shred of wisdom. 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

How will I be my exuberant self today?

Ah! Too hard!

What or who can’t you live without?

I can't live without creativity.
