Nick Taylor serves as Chair of Performing Arts at The Community College of Denver. He is an enthusiastic collaborator, consensus gather, a bonafide big thinker, and an engaging teaching artist. Championing the disenfranchised, he favors intention, articulation, and tolerance over indifference, the status quo, and impulsion. He aims for intention & integrity with process. He earned a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon and has taught, guest lectured, or served as a guest artist-in-residence throughout the Berkshire Mountains, Virginia Tech, the Orphan Girl Theatre (Butte, MT), Theatre in the Park (Petersburg, IL), Northeastern State University (Oklahoma), MacMurray College, (Illinois) and Beijing, China. He lives in Louisville with his husband and favorite hot mess, his adopted 12-year-old son.
