Associate Professor Wade Fox has been teaching composition courses (both transfer-level and developmental English) at CCD since 2009. He obtained his Master of Arts in Literature from California State University, East Bay, where his focus was English Renaissance literature and rhetoric/composition.

Before he was a teacher, Wade worked as an editor. He was a senior editor at Lonely Planet Publications and a project editor at Ten Speed Press. His first editing gig was as an editorial assistant at The Whole Earth Review.

Wade has two children, a boy and a girl and they are both "obviously amazing people." Wade and his wife just celebrated their 20-year anniversary.

When not teaching and parenting, Wade loves cycling, reading and writing, but his primary passion is music. He plays the guitar, mandolin, and fiddle.
