Certain campus officials have a duty to report criminal misconduct for federal statistical reporting purposes under The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. All personally identifiable information is kept confidential, but statistical information must be passed along to campus law enforcement regarding the type of incident and its general location (on or off-campus, in the surrounding area, but no addresses are given). This report helps to provide the community with a clear picture of the extent and nature of campus crime, to ensure greater community safety. To report a crime, Clery Reporters should contact the Auraria Police Department at 303.556.5000. Mandated federal Clery reporters include:
Employees who are not federal Clery reporters are obligated to report sex offenses and hate crimes to the Title IX/EO Coordinator.
