Pre-Health Track
Students interested in pursuing a CCD Selective Admission Health Sciences program, begin their studies by completing a set of prerequisite courses to build a foundation necessary to be successful in Health Sciences programs. The Associate Degree Health Sciences Track programs are pathways designed with students in mind to prepare them for the admissions into selective admission programs. These pathways ensure that students complete the required prerequisite courses before applying, streamlining their transition into specialized areas of study.
The curriculum in Health Sciences track programs varies slightly depending on the program and usually those are the courses in the first semester of the associate degree, but they can span over the first and the second semester based on the specific program. To gain a clearer understanding of the specific prerequisite courses included in these degree maps, students are encouraged to visit the program website for detailed information.
