Swooper Market Food Pantry

All Community College of Denver students have access to Swooper Market Food Pantry located in Tivoli 259. Each student is eligible for 15 items/week and 3 additional items if you bring a reusable bag. 

Hours of Operations: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm

The Community College of Denver Resource Center provides support to students in crisis. We know that food insecurity is just one symptom of a bigger problem. When students come to our office they get access to the Swooper Market and they can get connected with a case manager for other things like housing insecurity, legal concerns, childcare support, transportation support, and clothing.

CCD's Veterinary Technology program has created a pet food pantry for students and employees.

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Food Amounts:

Dog:

  • Small dog up to 15 pounds = up to 8 pounds of food every other month
  • Medium dog 20-45 pounds = up to 25 pounds of food every other month
  • Large dog 46 – 80 pounds = up to 40 pounds of food every other month
  • X-Large dog over 80 pounds = up to 50 pounds of food every other month

Cat:

  • Up to 8 pounds of food every other month
