Once the application is complete, all documents must be submitted by the deadline date for an admissions decision to be made.
A $75 non-refundable application fee must be submitted to the Cashier's Office.
Proof of English proficiency is not required for applicants who have graduated from an American high school. Otherwise, you must submit one of the following:
Depending on your status upon applying to CCD, you may be asked to provide these documents before or after final acceptance: valid identification (Visa, Passport, I-94), proof of health insurance, copy of current I-20 and/or other documents to maintain your F-1 status at CCD.
Your student email account is the official means of communication between you and the College. At least once a week you should sign in to CCDConnect to view your registration and check your email.
Your advisor will assist you in finding the correct major, review your testing scores, and help you find the right classes for your degree plan.

If you miss the payment deadline, you may be dropped from all classes and your original classes may no longer be available.
You are responsible to pay by the payment deadline, each semester. To avoid your classes from being dropped for non-payment, please make sure that you do not have any pending balances. Please request an international student financial affidavit of financial support form from the Office of International Student Services.
Your classes may be dropped if CCD has not received your final financial guarantee (FG) before the payment deadline. Your government may request additional documentation from you to obtain a final financial guarantee. Please contact your sponsor and advise CCD on the status of your final FG.
Please be prepared to provide the International office with your copies of I-94, Visa, Passport, proof of Health Insurance and current I-20 (if you are transferring).

Please submit all the necessary documents by the deadline date for the semester in which you plan to enroll. The College will not issue the I-20 until all admission documents are on file with the International Student Services office (step 1), the student has meet with their Academic Advisor (step 2) and the student has been officially accepted to the College. Transfer international students will be required to take the placement test prior to acceptance.
In accordance with language specified in the Border Security Act of 2003, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has changed the photo requirements for all applicants from a three-quarter face position to a standard, full-frontal face position.
