We know how important getting the right education is and we want to make sure it is affordable. We work hard for our students with financial aid, advising and scholarships and are proud to say - we graduate 70% of our students with zero student loan debt!
The math is simple: pay less, earn more. At CCD, you can start strong, graduate with little or no debt, and build a future that works for you.
Starting at the Community College of Denver means access to accredited, high-quality education that is flexible, affordable, and aligned with real workforce needs. Community college tuition averages half the cost of public four-year institutions, helping students significantly reduce debt while completing the first two years of a bachelor's degree (College Board, 2024).
CCD now offers select bachelor's degrees, helping you save you even more. In Colorado, education beyond high school is required for nearly two-thirds of top jobs, and bachelor’s degree holders earn $30,000– $35,000 more annually than those with only a high school diploma (Colorado Department of Higher Education; U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Even short-term credentials can increase earnings by about 20% and improve promotion opportunities.
The Community College of Denver (CCD) is a fully accredited, leading Colorado community college. CCD was voted Colorado’s Best Community College in the Denver Metro Area by The Colorado Sun readers.
We are committed to making the Community College of Denver a place of learning for everyone, no matter their age or background. With 100+ program pathways to a degree or certificate, we’re ready to get you from here to wherever you want to go. Below is just a sample of the pathways available to our students.
With 65 programs, from accounting to veterinary care, encompassing hundreds of certificates and degrees, students can embark on their new career path in anywhere from two weeks to two years.
CCD is one of the few community colleges in the state to offer bachelor’s degrees in health sciences, including a BAS in dental hygiene and a first-of-its-kind LPN-BSN bridge program for nurses.
Our graduates can transfer to any public college and university in Colorado and apply their credits to an eligible 4-year program to earn any liberal arts or science associate's or bachelor’s degree.
Eligible students in high school are invited to take CCD courses to jumpstart their future. Course credit is transferable to all Colorado public colleges and counts toward high school graduation.
Whether on campus or online, adults from all walks of life can pursue certificates and credentials, take individual classes for credit or to meet continuing education requirements, and so much more.
Adults can earn their high school diploma at their own pace for a fee of only $50, which includes all tutoring and advising needed to succeed. Note: this is not a GED preparation class (it’s better).
Whether you are looking for in-person, remote, or online, CCD provides access to several high-quality learning options so you can attend classes that fit your schedule.
