CCD Foundation Receives COSI Grant Worth More Than $94,000
The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) has awarded the Community College of Denver Foundation more than $94,000 in matching scholarship funds.

COSI was developed by the Colorado Department of Higher Education to create a statewide network of student support and scholarship programs with a goal of matching scholarships provided by local programs 1:1 with state funds. The goal is to provide high needs Colorado students with resources to complete their education, reducing the “attainment gap” by half by 2020. The attainment gap is the difference between the degree attainment rates of majority and minority populations.

“Through the generosity of CCD donors, the CCD Foundation will match COSI funds, providing diverse, hardworking students with necessary financial support to help them complete their degrees,” said Francie Anhut, Executive Director, CCD Foundation.
