Denver, CO – Community College of Denver (CCD) will host a completion week and transfer fair starting February 23rd. This free event is a great way for students to explore their field of study with experts from four-year institutions within the state of Colorado and nationally.
A series of four panels will be offered on February 23-24th in the fields of nursing, engineering, business and graphic design. Each panel will have five schools presenting to prospective students about their transfer options.
Thirty-four schools will participate in this year’s transfer fair—held on February 25th—including the Colorado School of Mines, Savannah College of Art & Design, Columbia University, University of Colorado (Denver and Boulder), Minneapolis College of Art & Design, to name a few.
CCD offers guaranteed transfer with various transfer agreements between two- and four-year schools both in and out of Colorado.
Students may also pursue Degrees with Designation (DWD), which are offered across Colorado to ensure credit protection of the 60 credits included in most associate degrees. By completing an Associate of Art (AA) degree or Associate of Science (AS) degree in one of CCD’s DWD programs, students are guaranteed that all 60 credits will transfer to an in-state public four-year institution and enter with junior standing.
In previous years, CCD students have transferred to Cornell University, Colorado College, State University of New York (SUNY) at Purchase of New, Colorado School of Mines, DU Women’s College, Regis University, CU Boulder and University of Colorado Anschutz, among others.
